The Website is finally back up!

After a harrowing and frustrating week we are pleased to inform all our Super Senior players that our website is back up and working. The issues we have encountered were as a result of technical problems with our Domain name provider and were not of our doing. So here is an update of what the Committee has been working on with regard to the persistent rain and the start of the Pennant.

The Committee met in a face to face meeting at Asquith Golf Club on Friday the 8th July. Much discussion was raised at this meeting about the Pennant starting on time in the light of the amount of rain we have endured. To that end we are contacting those Clubs in each of the 10 Divisions that will host in Rounds 1 and 2 of the Pennant to ascertain the state of their course and the likelihood of carts being used on their scheduled hosting date.

The Committee will then be meeting on Thursday the 14th July via Zoom to discuss the information gained from these 20 Clubs and make a decision about the start of the Pennant and of any amendments to the Rules of Play that may be required. We will be using the NOTICE BOARD to relay the result of the Zoom meeting to you all after this Thursday. We are still very confident that the Pennant can proceed as currently scheduled with Round 1 taking place the week commencing the 25th July.

On behalf of the Committee
